Pennywise, and pumpkins foolish.

I am so sick of this orange shit. Is it Halloween yet? After the donuts and the cheesecake, I must have gained five pounds. Then I make pasta tonight? Jesus. I'm making salads tomorrow.

This is essentially Rachael Ray's "Penne-Wise Pumpkin Pasta," only I used elbow macaroni. And veg broth, soy creamer, more than one pathetic teaspoon of hot pepper sauce, no nutmeg (sick of it!), dried sage, curry powder, corn, and those toasted almonds, pine nuts, and pepitas on top. It made SO MUCH. I don't know what to do. I have no more empty plastic storage containers because MoFo leftovers have taken them over. I can't eat this for the next week. I'll kill myself. And I still have this:

ready to roast. *sob*

Haha! I love this post! Your pasta dish looks delicious, so at least all the carb consumption was worth it!

thinking back.. i don't think i've made ANYTHING with pumpkin this halloween. jesus! i need to get on that.
on another note, that pasta looks tastyyy.

haha..it sounds like you're having a mofo breakdown! i was at the point where i was out of tupperware last week too... i actually went and bought like 3 more cheapy pieces at the dollar general store. that pasta looks good though...could you put it in freezer bags and freeze it? maybe you'll want it in like a month. and i, too, and a pumpkin, nay! 2 pumpkins! in need of roasting. i feel your pain.

I think you have my share of Pumpkin mojo or something - I've not made anything Pumpkin yet!!
BUT I have been eating so much stodge that my body was literally crying out for some fresh Salad and raw goodies.
I've had Salad the last few days and I must say - I feel soooo much better for it!
I know it's so easy to eat starchy carby "stick to the ribs" comfort foods when the weather is cold - but I'm gonna make an effort to eat Salad every day.
